Mike Keefe (Class of 1965)Michael has been a lifetime AOG member since graduation. He served 24 years in the USAF before retiring in 1989 as a Colonel. Assignments included two years in SEA as an F-4 pilot, followed by tours in USAFE, and TAC at all levels from squadron to Headquarters, in line, instructional, staff, and command positions After retirement, he held multiple defense contracting positions with several companies including Flight International, Cubic and Dynamics Research, as a contract pilot, an author for Joint Doctrine, planning, executing, and evaluating JCS level exercises, developing and testing joint command and control systems and developing innovative approaches to tactical operations. He has earned Masters Degrees in Management and Engineering since retirement.
Mike has also been active in the Civil Air Patrol as squadron commander, emergency services and instructional positions, as well as towing and instructing in local soaring clubs. He recently moved his family to Colorado and has become active in supporting the AOG and other USAFA activities. |
