Bob Chapman (Class of 1984)Colonel, USAF, Retired. Bob served in the USAF as a C-130 pilot. His final assignment was as the Vice Commander of the 302nd Airlift Wing. Bob has been a pilot with United Airlines since 1995. He has served as a first officer, instructor pilot, and captain in several of his company’s fleets. Bob is a sitting board member (Vice President) of the Soaring Eagle Foundation, an organization committed to the rehabilitation of our wounded warriors. He was previously a founding board member of a 501-3(c). An outstanding communicator possessing strong human relations skills, Bob has experience in developing procedures and their implementation.. He is experienced in managing organizational budgets and an expert in training development. Bob has been a resident of Colorado Springs for the past 27 years. He has been thinking of ways to involve myself in the local Academy community more and sees this as the perfect avenue to do so since he is currently and has previously served as a non-profit board member and officer. Bob’s goal as a member of the RAOG board would be to encourage more academy graduate participation in our chapter and the local area. He would like to see and help facilitate more involvement within the community of the Chapter to further the goals of the AOG as well as USAFA. Bob also believes this is a perfect opportunity for him to give back to our school and to the community he lives in.
